For day-to-day operations, the staff team manages all programming, logistics and administration. Staff are also responsible for student leadership development and the ongoing growth of the community.
Student leaders at Hunter College are extraordinary: they volunteer their time on top of school and work to create fun and meaningful experiences for their peers. Participation in Hillel as a student leader intrinsically develops skills and experiences to further a student's career. Student leaders contribute their opinion and preferences to programming, and get to know what effectively builds community. They receive personalized invitation to events and opportunities, and are the first to know when there is free food. Student leaders often use Hillel staff as reference for letters of recommendation.
