Jewish Education

Hunter Hillel partners with a variety of Jewish educators for ongoing and one time learning opportunities.

Chabad at Hunter provides Lunch and Learns on Tuesdays throughout the year.  Contact Rabbi Boruch Jacobson for more information.

Rabbi Kigel, Rabbi Gutmacher, and Ali Lakovsky from EMET offer a 10 week series of Jewish classes; full participation merits scholarships for trips to Israel.

Yeshivat Chovevei Torah Rabbic Interns are available for mental-health coffee dates and Jewish learning on campus and in the Brookdale Dorms

For the 2016-2017 Academic Year, meet Rav. Sam Englender.  Previous Interns include Rav Abe Shachter-Gampel (2015-2016) and Rav Avram Mlotek (2013-2015)

Mechon Hadar sends guest educators for text based class mini-series (in English, on hot topics) in the Brookdale Dorms. This year, we are working with Joanna and Patrick!

BASE DWTN with Rabbi Avram Mlotek and Yael Kornfield (and their children Ravi and Hillel) and BASE BKLYN with Rabbi Jon Leener and Faith Brigham Leener (and their son Hudi) offer Shabbat, holiday, community service, and Jewish learning programming both specifically for Hillel students and for young professionals.

To create a one time Jewish engagement program, submit information about your Jewish learning opportunity to debra@hunterhillel.org
