Leadership

Hunter College Hillel's leadership is dedicated to the mission of Hillel as well as making sure that the students at Hunter College get the most diverse opportunities and quality programming.

Board of Directors:

Without the tireless efforts and financial support of our Board, we would be a shadow or our current selves.  These individuals give the most precious asset they can, their time.  In monthly Board meeting, weekly updates, and the occasional daily visit to campus, these adults drive the organization.  They make all the hiring decisions, which has given us our amazing staff.

Staff:

For day-to-day operations, the Board looks to their trusted staff members.  These individuals help develop student leaders and offer programming and administrative skills that keep Hillel going.  While students may not realize all the efforts of these people as most of their work is "behind the scenes", don't forget to thank your staff members for a job well done.

Rabbis:

For thousands of years, Jews have been turning to Rabbis for all kinds of questions to be answered.  Of course, the questions range from the serious (What is the meaning of life?) to the not so serious (Is Matzoh Ball Soup REALLY that good?).  Whatever your query, our well trained, open minded Rabbis are here to serve you.

Students:

Of course, the previous three categories all serve the needs of the students.  But who are the leaders of these "students"?  A few individuals amongst you have decided that they will ignore studying (for a little) and blow off all their friends (that aren't in Hillel) to make programming for you!  These amazing students go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure their peers are happy and fully fed.  Don't forget to thank them when you see them!
