An enduring commitment to Hillel often goes hand-in-hand with professional and personal success. Our many Hillel alumni have gone on to achieve great things, and we're thrilled to showcase their talents and accomplishments.

Jonathan Newcombe spent his time at Hunter College as a student leader. In his first year, he immediately got involved by becoming treasurer of HIPAC, a student club committed to promoting a positive image of Israel on campus.
After HIPAC, Jonathan set his sights higher and successfully ran for President of Hillel. He was able to successfully be elected to this position for two more years, eventually passing on the leadership torch after 3 years at the helm.
In addition to being involved in Hillel, Jonathan served as Finance Commissioner of Undergraduate Student Government. During his year in this position, he created an improved system of internal controls for USG. In addition, he voiced his opinion on the Executive Board, where he was able to be a voice for Hillel.
Jonathan graduated Hunter College after 2009, completing a BS in Accounting.
After graduating, Jonathan went on to work as an Analyst at Voltaire Capital in New York City. In addition, he is currently pursuing his CPA certification.
He currently resides in Park Slope, Brooklyn
